thierry | September 27, 2011If you haven’t got the time, here is a brief point by point summary of an admittedly brief article. Question is where does SAP by Design stand ? It appears that out of SAP´s 3 pillar strategy, the other two being Mobility and In Memory databases, this one is currently facing some headwinds:
1. SAP promises new applications for HANA : (i) Business Warehouse 7.3, (ii) SAP’s smart meter analytics, (iii) SAP’s cash and liquidity management application
2. Sybase will release by the end of the year : (i) SDK, (ii) Support for SAP NetWeaver Gateway, (iii) Ability to deploy Apple apps using Afaria.
