The SuccessFactors “User Exit”

User Exit is an old fashioned term but at least it is recognisable by the On Premise community and it is also, I guess, clearer then the new Cloud idioms we all here about these days such as “Meta Data Framework configuration” or “Hana Cloud Platform Extensions”. Nevertheless these are one and the same thing : a solution for adding completely new functionalities or to fill in Gaps to standard SuccessFactors “in the cloud”. ( Yes you can now have exactly what you need in the Cloud as well )

Why would you engage in such a project ? Well the Boston Consulting group did identify that there were two main ways to compete : by price or through differentiation. Your HR processes may have a very specific requirement that differentiates you from your competition and which is not necessarily available in the standard solution.
